Lazio 'Keeper Tommaso Berni Does Not Want To Be A Forgotten Player - Agent

The custodian wants more game-time to prove himself...
The agent of Lazio shot-stopper Tommaso Berni admits that his client would like to be playing more games for the Biancocelesti this season, after getting his opportunity for first-team action against Fiorentina almost a month ago.

Davide Lippi says that Berni has sacrificed a lot to demonstrate that he is an excellent goalkeeper.

"It was not easy after such a long period of inactivity to be ready. I am happy for him, as he deserves to be playing," Lippi told LaLaziosiamonoi.it. "The possibility arose for his departure, as there were other teams interested in allowing him to play.

"Then there was the injury to Albano [Bizzarri] and his position was then never put in any difficulty. I hope that between now and the end of the season, there will be other occasions to demonstrate his abilities.

"We will then re-evaluate the situation at the end of the season. He does not want to be forgotten as a player," he concluded.
