Napoli midfielder Michele Pazienza believes the stuttering Azzurri have what it takes to complete a famous double over bitter rivals Juventus tomorrow night.
The Campani fought back from two goals down last October to defeat their loftier opponents 3-2 in Turin.
And Pazienza thinks the sight of the Bianconeri might help Napoli overcome their recent slump in form to claim a first win in Serie A in over two months.
“With the same grit and determination we could repeat that display,” he said during yesterday’s press conference at Castel Volturno.
“We must take to the pitch knowing we won’t give up until the final whistle.
“Sunday’s draw with Milan has boosted our morale.”
Napoli will play twice in front of their own fans in four days, Catania visiting the San Paolo on Sunday, and Pazienza hopes they will seize this chance to resume their push for a Champions League spot.
“We must make the most of it, but let’s take it one game at a time,” he concluded.
