Juventus Rebuke Jonathan Zebina And Felipe Melo After Fulham Loss - Report

The Bianconeri management were not pleased with the reactions of two members of the squad...
Juventus have warned players Felipe Melo and Jonathan Zebina for their behavior following the Europa League exit at the hands of Fulham, according to Ansa.

Zebina launched an attack on the club's fans after the match at Craven Cottage, saying he was "sick" of he and team-mate Felipe Melo being denigrated. Meanwhile, last weekend, Melo engaged in an argument during the 3-3 draw against Siena, swearing at a section of the supporters in Turin.

Club president Jean-Claude Blanc and director Roberto Bettega officially expressed their disapproval of the duo's actions at the end of Friday's training session and have released an official statement. The Bianconeri officials said their "behaviours fuelled unecessary tensions" and "were not justified by frustration over a disappointing result."

The players have not been fined, but only warned. Both players had already issued apologies for their reactions, but were certainly upset by the fans' chantings.

Juventus face Sampdoria at the Marassi this weekend.
