Arsenal's Serie A interest is not just restricted to Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo; Arsene Wenger is also monitoring Palermo teenager Abel Hernandez, claims La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
Scouts from the north London club have been watching Hernandez on Wenger's behalf and they are keeping a close eye on him for the summer transfer window.
Hernandez, 19, arrived from Penarol in the summer and he has been outstanding in the short playing time he has been afforded at the club so far with four goals in 364 Serie A minutes this season, and they were against Lazio, Inter and a double at Fiorentina.
But, it's this lack of playing time which is linking him with a move away from Sicily.
The left-footer has also played for the Uruguay under-20 national team and he was part of the squad in last year's under-20 World Cup.
