Carlo Ancelotti has snubbed Italy, claiming he would prefer to win trophies with Chelsea rather than taking the reigns with the Azzurri.
Ancelotti's name has cropped up in talk over the future of the national team, but he has no reason to leave Stamford Bridge.
"I would prefer to stay in London and play for the Champions League with Chelsea," he told Max magazine.
"As for the national team, the most loved players should be picked, but you don't win with single players, like Italy showed in 2006."
Ancelotti and former Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho have reserved opinions about each other, but the Italian is ready to reveal his real thoughts should his side win the Premier League.
"Mourinho? I will say what I really think about him only if Chelsea win the league," he concluded.
