Atalanta sporting director Carlo Osti may have to consider whether to hold onto striker Robert Acquafresca, or loan him out for the remainder of the season.
Currently, the 22-year-old is out-of-favour with new Orobici coach Bortolo Mutti, who prefers to use Simone Tiribocchi and Ernesto Chevanton up front.
"It is clear that over the next few days," Osti stated to TMW. "Should anything change, we would have to consider our options.
"This decision will also include the coach, and his opinion," added Osti.
Genoa - the team that currently own the player - are interested him having the Italian international return and play in the Rossoblu colours.
