Inter midfielder Esteban Cambiasso believes that his team-mates did well to overcome their numerical disadvantage and defeat Milan 2-0.
The Argentinean international was pleased with how the Nerazzurri were able to control possession of the ball, which was decisive in their victory.
"We were somehow able to bear the expulsion [of Wesley Sneijder], and win the match," the 29-year-old stated to Inter Channel post-match. "It was not easy coping without him, as he is an important piece for us going forward.
"The team was good enough to control the match, especially against a side such as Milan that is playing really well at the moment," added Cambiasso.
