Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar has praised his team-mates for their 2-0 winning performance against Milan.
The Nerazzurri walked away with maximum points, thanks to goals from Diego Milito and Goran Pandev.
"It was a great performance by all my team-mates," the Brazilian said to Sky post-match. "I am also pleased that I was able to contribute to our victory, against a team that is getting better and better.
"I need to compliment my team-mates, because it is not easy playing a whole match with nine men, and they showed great determination.
"This group is very strong, and this Derby was a marvellous result for us."
The custodian also gave his thoughts on Wesley Sneijder's sending off.
"An applause doesn't seem to me as being a valid excuse to be showing red, but our team showed an enormous amount of character to win," Cesar concluded.
