Fiorentina have announced they have reached an agreement with Porto for midfielder Mario Bolatti, revealed through an official statement on violachannel.tv.
The Serie A outfit have also agreed personal terms with the player and therefore the Argentina international only needs to undergo a medical for the move to be complete.
The 24-year-old had a very successful loan stint at Huracan during the 2009 Clausura, being regarded as one of the best players of the season in Argentina. His performances reportedly attracted praise from many sides across Europe, including Spanish giants Barcelona.
Bolatti was included in Argentina coach Diego Maradona's most recent list of call-ups and also scored during their qualifying campaign for the World Cup 2010 in a crucial match against Uruguay.
The Viola have been quite active on the transfer market this month, already bringing in starlet Adem Ljajic and defender Felipe from Udinese, whilst offloading Jose Castillo and Dario Dainelli.
