Real Madrid Interested In Lazio Defender Aleksandar Kolarov - Report

Los Blancos want a left-back and are prepared to offer big money for the Serb...
Despite Lazio president Claudio Lotito declaring that his prize assets were not for sale, Real Madrid could be getting ready to make a swoop for defender Aleksandar Kolarov.

Los Blancos are in need of a left-back, according to AS, and the Serbian would fit the requirements perfectly. After not being able to tempt Fiorentina's Juan Manuel Vargas to the Bernabeu, the 24-year-old is seen by the nine-time Champions League winners as a suitable replacement.

Madrid president, Florentino Perez, would be willing to meet with Lotito, in order to discuss the possibility of this move and the final price for the player, which is said to be between €18-20 million.

Lazio take on Livorno midweek, when the league resumes.
