Livorno Star Antonio Candreva Dreams Of Playing For Roma

The 22-year-old wants to feature for the Giallorossi, but admits it is unlikely to happen soon...
Livorno midfielder Antonio Candreva has revealed his desire to play for Roma in the future. The player, owned by Serie A club Udinese, is currently on loan with the Amaranto, and has impressed greatly this season.

"I have always been a fan of Roma, but I don't think about it because I am owned by Udinese. Playing in Rome has always been my dream, but for now that isn't a consideration," he told Radio Radio.

The player is impressed by the work of Livorno coach Serse Cosmi, who was appointed after a poor start to the campaign.

"He took over when we only had three points in the standings. Under him, we have achieved 15 more important ones towards reaching safety."

Candreva made his first appearance for the Italian national team last month under coach Marcello Lippi and is hoping to go to the World Cup next summer.
