Inter legend Sandro Mazzola has fired back at Jose Mourinho as their squabble continues to intensify.
On Monday, Mazzola suggested Mourinho's future looked bleak if he failed to deliver the Champions League trophy.
"If Inter are eliminated from the Champions League against Rubin Kazan then Jose Mourinho will go at the end of the year," Mazzola told Radio Anchio Lo Sport yesterday.
Mourinho responded and rejected the former striker's suggestion during Tuesday's press conference.
"Mazzola? He doesn't pay my wages and doesnt sign the cheques. What does he do for Inter? Does he work for them? Will he decide if I leave in June?" he said.
It didn't take long for those words to reach Mazzola's ear, and he has reproached the 'Special One'. The 1970 World Cup finalist has told Mourinho to cut the verbal bashing and focus on getting his team qualified for the next round.
"Mourinho should not respond to me, but should give answers on the pitch with positive results, starting with the game against Rubin Kazan in the Champions League," Mazzola told Radio Kiss Kiss.
