Inter Striker David Suazo: Cagliari Will Always Be In My Heart

The striker reminisced about his experiences in Sardinia...
Inter striker David Suazo has provided a preview of what Palermo could be in for when they take on his former side, Cagliari, this weekend.

The Honduras international played for the Sardinian outfit for eight seasons, and has fond memories playing for the side now coached by Massimiliano Allegri.

"At Cagliari, I matured as a person and transformed myself into a footballer," the 30-year-old discussed with "I still have friends that play there, and Cagliari will always be in my heart.

"It was a fantastic experience.

"I think that Cagliari will play like they have in their last few matches, so I think that they will go to Sicily to play their own style of football.

"I hope that they get to play a good game.

"Palermo are going through a transitional phase at the moment because the club have changed coaches.

"By [former coach Walter] Zenga not being there means they are in some difficulty.

"I will support Cagliari, but ultimately, may the best team win," Suazo summed up.
