EXCLUSIVE: Italy Midfielder Antonio Candreva Is Ready For Inter Or Juventus - Former Coach

Goal.com caught up with the man who launched Candreva on the Calcio scene for an exclusive insight into the Azzurri's latest sensation...

Fabio Brini, a former coach of Antonio Candreva, believes the Italy and Livorno midfielder is ready to join a major club, having explained the player's development in an exclusive chat with Goal.com.

Candreva's good form this season has been rewarded with a first-time call to the Nazionale. That's not all, though. Reports around the peninsula claim that he is being followed by Juventus and Inter.

To find out more, Goal.com caught up with the man who launched the player's career, and the future looks bright for the talented midfielder.

"I think Candreva is ready for a big team, without a doubt," Brini told Goal.com. "I don't think playing alongside great players will be a problem for him because he is an excellent player.

"He is also an intelligent player who understands and knows how to adapt. I think the time to move is now. He shouldn't wait around."

Candreva's versatility is what is likely to appeal to either Jose Mourinho or Ciro Ferrara.

"When I coached him he was a trequartista both on the wing and in the middle. He can easily cover all roles in midfield because he is complete and useful," Brini stated.

The midfielder began life in Serie B with Ternana; fond memories for Brini, who is delighted his man has come a long way.

"I launched him in Serie B when he was really young. I understood his qualities and he has improved plenty. He was a youngster back then. Now he is a real player," concluded the coach.
