Lazio's Marco Davide Faraoni has sustained a serious injury to his right knee, and the youngster looks set to be on the sidelines for up to six months, according to Novantesimo.it.
Faraoni ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament, and the 17-year-old will not be available for selection by coach Davide Ballardini until approximately March or April.
The up and coming stopper was looking to become an important player in his side, possibly taking over from Cristian Ledesma, should the player continue to not get a game.
The Biancocelesti are currently in 10th position, on seven points, six behind joint-leaders Juventus and Inter. They are set to take on Palermo on Sunday afternoon at home.
