Jose Mourinho is likely to leave Marko Arnautovic out of his Champions League list this season.
According to Goal.com Italia, the Inter coach has already drawn up his list of European participants, and Arnautovic is not on it. The report suggests that 'Mou' has left the 20-year-old striker out of his initial plans.
Arnautovic has not recovered from the foot injury he sustained towards the end of last season, and accordingly is behind in his preparations for the current campaign. However, hope is not lost for the Austrian youngster as voices suggest he could be inserted into the list if Ricardo Quaresma were to leave for another European club.
The 'Special One' managed to trim down his squad to around 24 players, plus three goalkeepers and 3-4 youth team stars. He reconciled requirements in line with club policies by bringing in Lucio, Thiago Motta, Wesley Sneijder, Diego Milito and Samuel Eto'o.
Those who departed were Nicolas Burdisso, Victor Obinna, Nelson Rivas, Foquinha, Julio Cruz, and Hernan Crespo as well as Luis Figo who was released.
Inter clash with Barcelona in the Champions League where they will face former striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
