As expected, the arrival of Nicolas Burdisso at Trigoria has impacted on Marco Andreolli's future with Roma. The defender has been concerned over his position in the Giallorossi squad all summer and has frequently been linked with a move to Bari.
An official announcement of the transfer will be made early next week, according to Tuttobari.com.
The player's agent, Patrick Bastianelli, recently explained that Andreolli would only look for another club next week, as his client wanted to concentrate on preparing for the Giallorossi's fixture against Genoa.
It appears that an agreement is now in place, although it is not yet known whether the 23-year-old defender will move to Bari on loan or on a permanent basis.
As Roma do not have an option to buy Burdisso at the end of his loan spell, it is likely that Andreolli will only leave on a temporary deal.
Prior to making the move south, Andreolli is expected to line up alongside Burdisso in defence for the injury-hit Lupi tonight against Gian Piero Gasperini's Genoa.
