Palermo Join Chase For Lazio's Goran Pandev - Report

The Rosanero are considering a bid for the wantaway striker...
Lazio's Goran Pandev has been linked with a plethora of clubs over the summer, and Walter Zenga's Palermo have now added their names to the list as they look to recruit another striker.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rosanero have not ruled out moving for another striker before the transfer window slams shut, and have identified the 26-year-old Macedonian as their number one target.

There is a stipulation to any transfer, however. Palermo already have a number of forwards, and president Maurizio Zamparini is eager to sell Davide Succi and Igor Budan before any more strikers arrive at the club.

Both Succi and Budan were strongly linked with a switch to Torino as part of a deal that would see Blerim Dzemaili move to Stadio Renzo Barbera, but negotiations between the clubs have reached a stalemate.

Should Pandev remain at Lazio next season, it is likely he will then leave on a free transfer - and both Inter and Juventus are intent on securing his signature if this situation arises.
