Lazio President Lotito: Ledesma, Pandev & De Silvestri Only Think Of Money

The Aquilotti patron insists his side do not need the services of the want-away trio...
Goran Pandev, Cristian Ledesma and Lorenzo De Silvestri have all been branded as "rebels" by Lazio president Claudio Lotito, who believes the trio are simply looking for better financial offers.

"We look forward to welcoming back Pandev, Ledesma and De Silvestri, but only if they agree to follow our project," he explained to Radio Radio.

"The pact was that if an offer had not arrived by July 31 they would remain at Lazio, now they are willing to wait until August 31. They are thinking only about money and we can not endorse such immoral behaviour.

"It will be the coach who decides whether to use them."

The Biancocelesti recently defeated Italian champions Inter in the Supercoppa Italiana in Beijing, and Lotito has taken that as a sign that his club will be able to cope without certain players.

“We won the Supercoppa without them, it demonstrates that nobody is indispensable," he concluded.
