Serie A Schedule Released With Juventus & Milan Clashing On Final Matchday

The Nerazzurri will face newly promoted outfit Bari in their first Serie A match of the 2009-10 campaign, while Juve and AC Milan face off on the final matchday...
The Serie A calendar for the 2009-10 campaign has been released and champions Inter will host Bari in their opener, as they look to continue their domestic domination next season, according to the Corriere dello Sport.

Meanwhile, Roma kick-off by visiting Genoa, Juventus entertaining Chievo and Milan visiting minnows Siena.

Perhaps the biggest news is that on the final day of the season (Round 19 and subsequently 38), the big match between Juventus and AC Milian will take place, a potentially mouth watering prospect depending on the title race.

Other key dates include Round 2, when Inter and Milan kick-off the Derby della Madonnina and Juventus play rivals Roma.

Round 15 also brings up a high-profile double-header, with the Rome derby as well as the derby d'Italia between Inter and Juventus.

The Italian league kicks-off on August 22 and will end on May 16, giving the Italian national team approximately three weeks to prepare for the World Cup in South Africa this summer.
