As expected, centre-back David Rozehnal has completed his move from Lazio to Hamburg, as confirmed by the German club's official website.
The Czech international joined the Biancocelesti in January of 2008, but had an inconsistent spell with the club, making 32 starts in Serie A over the course of a season and a half.
Financial details have not been disclosed, however the player has signed a three-year contract with the side that came fifth in the Bundesliga in 2008-09, tying him to the club until June 30, 2012.
"I have witnessed the signing of the contract and there is also an option for a fourth season," explained the player's agent, Pavel Zika.
The 29-year-old has had a number of experiences across Europe, playing for Paris St. Germain, Newcastle and Club Brugge since 2003.
