Free-agent striker Julio Cruz continues to look for a club following the expiration of his contract with Inter in June. Roma and Lazio have been the clubs most frequently linked with the Argentine, but the option of Napoli still exists.
"Napoli is a great club and among the possibilities," explained the player's representative, Gustavo Ghezzi, to Radio Kiss Kiss.
"Many clubs are demanding him, both in Italy and abroad. We are considering the options and will see what we can do."
Over the past couple of weeks, Napoli sporting director Pierpaolo Marino has denied any interest in the former Bologna star, so his agent's statements come as a bit of a surprise.
Cruz joined Inter in 2003, finding the back of the net 75 times in all competitions for the club.
