Inter midfielder Ricardo Quaresma has hit out at accusations that he is too soft to play in Serie A and claims he is not afraid of suiting up under coach Jose Mourinho.
"To be afraid of the big stage is not something I am," he explained to the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I will have no fears when I come back to play at the San Siro, because that is the home of Inter and I am an Inter player."
Meanwhile, Quaresma's poor performances have actually saved Inter €2 million. When he transferred from Porto, there were clauses in his contract stating that the Nerazzurri would have to pay bonuses to the Portuguese club if Quaresma made a certain amount of appearances or goals.
The midfielder did not meet that quota, after only featuring 13 times for the club before being sent on-loan to Chelsea last January.
