New Reggina Coach Walter Novellino Determined To Succeed

The boss of the Amaranto is keen to make his mark in Serie B next term.
Walter Novellino took over the reins at Reggina on June 11, following the club’s decision not to renew the contract of Nevio Orlandi, who failed to keep the club in the Italian top-flight.

The Amaranto were relegated from Serie A last season, finishing in 19th place with a mere 31 points from 38 matches.

The club got their first training session of the pre-season underway yesterday, and with 19 players present, it was a pleasing start for the new coach.

Following its completion, the boss made a brief comment in regards to his plans for the season ahead.

“I am here to win,” Novellino confidently declared to the press.

Novellino is set to travel with his team to a small town called Roccaporena this weekend, where they will commence a pre-season training camp which will last for a few days.
