According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the deal between Juventus and Fiorentina for midfielder Felipe Melo could now be in jeopardy due to the demands of winger Marco Marchionni.
The Brazilian was reportedly purchased for €20 million plus the full ownership of Marco Marchionni, but the Italian midfielder cannot seem to agree on personal terms with the Viola.
The former Parma man's agent, Bruno Carpeggiani, explained the situation to the Italian sports newspaper.
"Unfortunately, we cannot do anything. We are only asking for another €200,000 to complete Marco's move from Juventus, but Fiorentina does not want to give that. It's too bad."
Now that negotiations have hit an unexpected road block, it remains to be seen if the talks will continue and a new deal can be agreed between the two teams.
