Inter won their fourth successive Scudetto last term when
they cruised to victory with several rounds to spare. However,
their failure to excel in Europe was a concern yet again, and for that reason
they are keen to boost their squad prior to the commencement of the upcoming
season.
Having already signed Diego Milito and Thiago Motta from
Genoa, the Nerazzurri have recently renewed their interest in another Serie A
star: Marek Hamsik, who plays for Napoli.
The champions were strongly linked to the player in the
winter transfer period, but they failed to meet the
demands of the Partenopei and so Hamsik remained in Naples.
According to the latest reports from Mediaset, the
Nerazzurri have formulated a new offer for the Azzurri to ponder, even though they know that their top-flight rivals will be reluctant to sell the Slovakian star.
The services of the troubled Mancini, as well as €15
million, is what Inter have put on the table. The deal could be beneficial for
both clubs, but it is up to the Partenopei to make the next move from here.
