AC Milan Hitman Marco Borriello On Fiorentina Radar - Report

The Italian may be of more use in Florence, rather than at the San Siro...
Fiorentina continue to look for reinforcements in attack and have highlighted Milan striker Marco Borriello as another possible option, according to Goal.com Italia.

The Viola will enter the qualifying round for the Champions League in August and currently only have three strikers on their books with Alberto Gilardino, Adrian Mutu, and Stevan Jovetic as they sold off Giampaolo Pazzini and Pablo Daniel Osvaldo midway through last season.

Coach Cesare Prandelli would like at least one more striker at his disposal to ensure the squad have depth up front and Borriello would seem to fit the bill.

Milan have been linked with Edin Dzeko and Emmanuel Adebayor and if another striker does come to the San Siro they could be willing to concede Boriello, who missed a majority of last season through injury.

However, Fiorentina are also considering other potential goal-scorers, like Inter duo Julio Cruz and David Suazo, as well as Torino forward Rolando Bianchi.
