Adriano Hails Thiago Motta Purchase, Suggests Inter Sign Felipe Melo

Flamengo striker Adriano has praised Inter’s transfer market dealings so far especially the purchase of former Genoa player Thiago Motta who proved his worth in Serie A last season.

Adriano also found time to advise his former club on their next transfer target, Fiorentina midfielder Felipe Melo, who has been linked to the Nerazzurri in the past weeks.

According to Adriano, the Brazilian midfielder would be ideal for them and could help them reclaim the Serie A title and go all the way in the Champions League.

"My former club is doing very well, buying very good players," declared the Brazilian player to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Thiago Motta is a very good player and if also Felipe Melo arrived at Inter, they would have everything to win the Scudetto and Champions League.

"The Fiorentina midfielder is a great player."

Before joining Flamengo in early May, the 27-year-old had played 12 Serie A games this past season, scoring three goals, including one against AC Milan which paved the way for his side's Scudetto triumph.
