Zamparini Dreams Of Lazio Star Striker Pandev At Palermo

The Biancoclesti's hitman is Zamparini's first name on the transfer wish-list, even though he knows it is highly unlikely that this move will become reality...
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini admitted that his dream transfer would be that of signing Lazio striker Goran Pandev this summer.

Zamparini is also ready to offer him midfielder Fabio Simplicio in order to secure the former Inter player and have him wear the Rosanero shirt.

"If there's a player I'm strongly in love with it's Lazio's Pandev," declared the Sicilian side's president to Radio Radio Lo Sport.

"I would like to bring him to Palermo, but I think that he prefers a superior team than ours.

"If Lazio want to sign Simplicio or are interested in any other player, and in the negotiation they include Pandev, then we can talk about it.

"I believe that Pandev is one of the best talents in Serie A, but he earns €2.5 million every year, a sum which I cannot guarantee him here."

In fact it will be highly unlikely that Palermo manage to sign the 25-year-old attacker, with other big clubs rumoured to be in the hunt for his services.
