Chelsea midfielder Deco is likely to leave the club this summer after failing to settle in at Stamford Bridge in his inaugural season. The player spoke about his difficulties and identified Serie A as his favoured destination.
"It was a difficult year for me," he admitted to Arena SporTV, citing injuries as the main culprit.
"Frankly, I was not well at Chelsea and I would like to go to another club where I can rediscover the pleasure to play football again."
The Portuguese international has been linked with a move to Inter, to rejoin former coach Jose Mourinho.
"I know Inter are currently in negotiations with Chelsea. I would be happy to play for the Nerazzurri," he concluded.
Should he join the Italians, they will be hoping his experience can help them towards Champions League glory. Deco has already won the competition twice, with Porto in 2004 and Barcelona in 2006.
