Inter Coach Mourinho Needs To Prove Himself In Italy - Catania Chief Lo Monaco

The Catania chief has once again spoken about Jose Mourinho following their war of words last year...

Catania chief executive Pietro Lo Monaco has challenged Jose Mourinho to do his talking on the pitch rather than in front of the cameras next season.

Many will remember the scathing verbal spat both men had at the beginning of last term following Catania's 2-1 loss to the Nerazzurri.

It seems as if the rivalry is set to continue into the next campaign as Lo Monaco takes another swipe at the 'Special One'.

"I have never had a rapport with Mourinho," Lo Monaco told Sky Sport Italia.

"In terms of our football, I hope he is able to show everyone that he really is the coach he thinks he is.

"I hope Inter play in a way which reflects their coach if he is to be the number one in the world.

"I am not saying they played badly last year, but they certainly didn't show any great things. They won some things and lost others. Inter have a great squad, but they didn't create any spectacles."
