According to Sportmediaset.it, Inter have cooled their interest in Twente striker Marko Arnautovic, who was one of their main transfer objectives until a few days ago.
Apparently, the Nerazzurri are hoping to get a discount from the Dutch side for the 20-year-old player, who picked up an injury in the past season.
The physical condition of the Austrian player worries Inter and has made them think twice before signing him up, even though reports suggest that the Italians are doing so only to decrease the player's value and secure a better deal.
A possible solution which the Nerazzurri could go for is a loan deal with the option to sign the player at the end of the season if he convinces coach Jose Mourinho.
However, Twente are not too keen on this option, and the whole deal could eventually collapse if there are no new developments in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, Inter are looking elsewhere, with Chelsea’s Deco and Ricardo Carvalho topping the club’s shortlist of wanted players.
