Juventus Have Not Approached Genoa For Acquafresca - Preziosi

The Genoa patron has revealed he has not received any indication of interest from Juventus in his young striker...
Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has played down rumours linking Robert Acquafresca with a move to Juventus.

The youngster has been linked with the Bianconeri with reports suggesting Domenico Criscito, who is on loan to the Grifoni from Juventus, would be used as part of the deal.

Acquafresca is about to join Genoa from Inter. The Grifoni's plans are to send him on loan to gain more experience and Juventus are not likely to be an option.

"I have no news about Juve's interest in Acquafresca," the chief told Radio Radio.

"I think the Bianconeri have their own problem with [David] Trezeguet to deal with first.

"I have not been contacted by anyone. If they have an interest then they should make contact and then we can speak.

"I think the ideal solution for Acquafresca would be to go out on loan to gain experience."

Acquafresca's agent Paolo Fabbri had also played down the hype earlier today.
