Italy U-21 Coach Casiraghi Unimpressed Despite Big Win Over Denmark

Italy's Under-21 side ran out as easy 4-0 winners over their counterparts from Denmark on Tuesday, but coach Pierluigi Casiraghi was not thrilled by the performance ahead of the European Championships.

"During the match we did some things well, and others not so well," he said, according to Datasport.

"The ball possession was good, while we are not at our best condition yet."

The coach began with the attacking triumvirate of Sebastian Giovinco, Mario Balotelli, and Robert Acquafresca, but believes they still need time to gel, despite two of the three stars getting on the score sheet.

"The trident? They still need to improve their harmony, we cannot allow ourselves to be unbalanced."

The Azzurrini's first match of the tournament is against Serbia next week.
