Ricardo Quaresma Turns Down Genoa Move

It seems that Genoa president Enrico Preziosi's persuasiveness will not be enough to bring another big name to the club.

Inter winger Ricardo Quaresma, who flopped in his first few months at the club last season before being loaned out to Chelsea, has turned down a move to the Grifoni, according to Sky Sport 24.

The 24-year-old had seemed indifferent to a move to Genoa from the start, and now it's been confirmed he will not join Gian Piero Gasperini's team, following a meeting between the player's agent Jorge Mendes and the Rossoblu's management.

The Inter braintrust will now have to decide whether to continue to shop around the Portuguese winger or give him a second shot at San Siro although the latter option seems unlikely.
