Gaetano D'Agostino: I'm Ready For Juventus

Udinese midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino admits he is ready to make the step up and join Juventus as both clubs try to negotiate a deal.

D'Agostino is being hotly tipped to join the Turin giants this summer as Juve continue to strengthen their squad. Udinese patron Giampaolo Pozzo admitted the Bianconeri were on his man, and D'Agostino has now added weight to those claims.

"The clubs are talking and I don't want to interfere," the midfielder told Sky Sport Italia.

"I have spoken to the president [Pozzo] and he knows my ideas. I feel I am ready to confront new objectives, pressures and players."

D'Agostino's words regarding Udinese seem to suggest he will be leaving the club as he thanks his coach and team-mates, hailing probable future coach Ciro Ferrara in the process.

"Udinese have given me plenty and I want to thank the coach and the fans. The feeling has been extraordinary," added D'Agostino.

"Ferrara? I have not spoken to him, but I have seen the relationship he has with players. He is a great coach."
