Sampdoria Ace Antonio Cassano’s Agent Welcomes Inter & Juventus Links

Antonio Cassano committed his future to Sampdoria until June 2013 last summer, but press reports in Italy suggest that Serie A giants Inter and Juventus are ready to splash out in order to prise ‘Fantantonio’ away from the Stadio Marassi.

There have been suggestions that Inter have been in talks with the Blucerchiati in recent weeks, but Juve are also rumoured to be flirting with Giuseppe Marotta, the Ligurian’s director general, and his arrival in Turin could pave the way for the 26-year-old to join the Old Lady.

“Being associated with big teams like Juventus and Inter is always pleasing,” Cassano’s agent Beppe Bozzo told calciomercatonews.com.

“You can’t be a hypocrite, because that will lead you nowhere. There is no doubt that Antonio is settled at Samp, they have given him a lot and he intends to honour his contract. But never say never in football…”

Cassano currently earns €1.2 million a year in Genova and is valued at around €15m.
