Marco Motta: My Future Depends On Roma

The young Italian has revealed that the Giallorossi management will make the final decision on whether or not he remains at the Stadio Olimpico...
Marco Motta arrived on-loan at Roma midway through the season from Udinese and has been a key figure in the club's campaign, helping them to ensure qualification to the Europa League for next season. The defender would like to stay with the club, but has revealed he has no say in the matter.

"My future is now in the hands of Roma, they have the right to purchase me outright," the full-back explained, according to tuttomercatoweb.

"[Wearing] the shirt of Roma has been something amazing and extraordinary. It has given me unique emotions and I would like to continue to wear it."

Since arriving at Roma, Motta has earned a call-up to the national team.

"Personally, it has been a positive season. The credit goes to my team-mates, the coach, and the club that has supported me. I hope that I remain in Rome," he added.

Reports from the peninsula suggest that Roma must pay another €3.5 million to keep the player on a co-ownership deal once his loan expires, or relinquish €7m to have the full rights to the former Torino man.
