Palermo midfielder Roberto Guana expressed his disappointment over his side's 1-0 defeat against Siena last Sunday, attributing the set-back to the fact that away from home they are a different team.
However, Guana is still optimistic with regard to qualifying for the Europa League, and believes that in the end the Rosanero can obtain those necessary points to make it through.
"It was a game which we interpreted wrongly", admitted the Sicilian side's player to La Repubblica. "However, we were very motivated when we went on the pitch.
"Unfortunately the away games have become our main weakness: away from the home stadium we don't manage to express ourselves like at the 'Barbera' which has become our fortress and our 12th man on the field for us.
"In any way, we cannot stop believing in the dream: the Uefa Cup [Europa League from next season] zone is only two points away and we are three teams fighting for qualification until the last breath.
"It would be a prestigious target, I already had the luck and honour to play in this competition."
Palermo are in fact in seventh place with 52 points from 35 games played, two points behind Roma and one point above Udinese, with only three matches remaining before the end of the season.
