Bari coach Antonio Conte feels he is ready to step up to the challenge of leading his former side Juventus to glory should the club oust Claudio Ranieri.
Having led Bari to Serie A promotion after an eight year absence from the top-flight, Conte's name is being linked with the Bianconeri. Juventus have struggled this term and the blame has fallen on Ranieri. A number of reports have linked him with an exit after president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli claimed his coach was not confirmed for next season.
Conte is now ready to come in should he be called up for service. It follows Bari president Vincenzo Mattarese's claim when he said Conte's future was up to Juventus.
“Who says that I am not ready for Juventus because I am too young? These are just cliches that don't really change anything,” the Bari coach told Il Sussidiario.
According to a report from Radio Mercato, Juventus directors are looking around at a number of candidates to take the helm. Nevertheless, Conte seems to believe he has the ability to lead the Bianconeri on their quest for glory.
