Ibrahimovic: I Can Win The Champions League With Inter...Or Somewhere Else

The latest declarations of 'Ibracadabra' are sure to result in plenty of press stories...
Inter striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic showed signs of frustration towards the fans on Saturday, when he put his finger to his mouth in order to hush them after scoring. The supporters had previously jeered him during the match.

The striker's action has the press suggesting that he is fed up with the team's lack of success on the continental level.

"Do I need to go to another team to win the Champions League? I could do that with Inter, but also do so in another team," claimed the Swedish sensation to Canal Plus.

The response, cryptic as it may be, is likely to fuel speculation that the former Ajax man could be leaving the Nerazzurri at the end of the season.

"The Champions League is a matter of both luck and small details," he continued. "My biggest regret is in Manchester. That was one of our best performances of the season, but it was not enough."

Nonetheless, on a personal level, the player is satisfied with his performances.

"I believe this is the best season of my career. I've shown great continuity at a high level, both in terms of scoring and the quality of my play.

"Am I selfish? On the field I have to score and also create opportunities [for team-mates]. However, if for every play you are not selfish, then you become normal. I always try to make a difference."

The 27-year-old has scored 25 goals for the Nerazzurri in all competitions this season and is joint-leader of the Serie A scoring charts with Marco Di Vaio.
