Inter's European Winning Mentality Is Non Existent - Zdenek Zeman

The former coach has slammed Inter's lack of winning mentality in Europe...
Former Roma and Lazio coach Zdenek Zeman has criticised Jose Mourinho's brand of European football, claiming Inter do not have a winning mentality on the continent.

The Czech tactician has spoken about the Nerazzurri's failures in Europe this term and he feels the 'Specail One' has plenty of work to do if his side are to conquer the Champions League in future.

"The mentality [in Europe] is missing. Mourinho started with a 4-3-3 formation at the beginning and then he scrapped it as time went on," Zeman told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.

"As a result of individual qualities, the team is more suited to a different set up and this is evident.

"When you face big European clubs the way the team plays on the pitch counts too."

Serie A has been a different story though. Zeman believes the Nerazzurri have not had any resistance from the chasing pack as they stroll towards another title.

"Mourinho's side have not faced competition since last summer," added Zeman.

"They are just too strong. It seems like the other teams have been playing in a different league."
