The Biancocelesti are not one of Serie A's wealthiest clubs, and it may not be cheap to keep the Argentine striker, but president Claudio Lotito already reassured the fans that keeping him is a top priority.

The negotiations between player and club have taken place tonight, and a deal has been reached, according to reports on Goal.com Italia.

At 20:25, the player's agent revealed that only minor details needed to be cleared up, and that Zarate would arrive at the club headquarters soon. Five minutes later, he started discussing his new contract with Lotito, accompanied by his agent and brother.

At 21:05, Zarate put pen to paper on a five year contract with Lazio. Now they are awaiting for the answer from Al Sadd.
