Inter defender Ivan Ramiro Cordoba believes that his side could have won the clash against Juventus, which ended 1-1, had it not been for a mistake by the referee.
Cordoba pointed out that the Nerazzurri should have been awarded a penalty when Nicola Legrottaglie appeared to foul Zlatan Ibrahimovic inside the penalty area, but the match official waved play on instead.
"Even the referee can make mistakes, but it seems to me that the penalty was clear," explained the Colombian player to Inter Channel.
"In that moment, the entire game could have changed, even though such a mistake can happen.
"The important thing is to maintain the same advantage over Juventus and this depends just from us. There's a lot of disappointment for conceding the equaliser in injury time.
"We must continue like this, turning the group into our strength."
Thanks to this draw Inter made a huge step towards winning the league title as they now have 74 points from 31 league games, 10 points more than Juventus.
