Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar affirmed that his side could have won the title race against Juventus, but in the end what was important was that they left the Olimpico stadium without any damage.
The Brazilian also pointed out that Znedek Grygera's equaliser was mainly the Nerazzurri’s fault, rather than the Bianconeri’s merit, even though the home side showed great character.
"It's a pity, because we had the opportunity to win this game," explained Cesar to Sky. "The great character of Juventus came out, but it was more our fault than their merit.
"The most important thing was to come out of this stadium without a defeat.
"In football many things can happen and therefore it is important to maintain a cool head and continue to work because the season is not over yet.
"We know that it's a good advantage, but we cannot forget that football always reserves incredible surprises."
Thanks to this point, Inter maintained their 10-point lead over Juventus, as the Nerazzurri now have 74 points from 32 games played.
