Milan's Adriano Galliani: Adriano Is Inter's Problem

The chief has ruled out a move for the out-of-sorts striker as he laughs off the hype...
Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has stamped on reports that he was ready to trade with Inter for troubled Brazilian striker Adriano.

Massimo Moratti's decision to consider terminating Adriano's contract has led to rife speculation in the Italian press. Reports around the peninsula claimed the Rossoneri were pondering the idea of taking the former Parma striker on board.

However, Galliani has wasted no time in reacting as he disregards all the hype surrounding the hitman.

"Adriano? He is Inter's problem," Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.

"Milan have never thought about Adriano, and we do not want to get involved in this situation which regards Inter."

The bigwig has also reiterated his stance on Alexandre Pato, believing the young striker is a victim of rough-house tactics by many Serie A defenders.

"I think referees should pay more attention to strikers as Pato has been receiving excessive treatment from certain defenders," added the chief.
