Report: Inter & Juventus Go Head-To-Head Over Genoa Ace Diego Milito

Juventus and Inter will square off in Saturday’s Derby d’Italia but the sworn enemies are expected to rekindle their rivalry in the transfer market next summer. The Old Lady are allegedly trying to snatch Genoa striking sensation Diego Milito from under the noses of the Italian champions.

The Nerazzurri have long been tracking the Argentine international and there were even rumours last month that they had agreed terms with his representatives.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport today claims that Juve have not given up hope of bringing the 29-year-old to Turin and are ready to offer Genoa the full services of striker Raffaele Palladino, who is currently co-owned by the two clubs, and the co-ownership of defender Domenico Criscito, who has been on loan with the Stadio Marassi outfit since January 2008.

But Milito is hardly the only player caught in the firing line of Juve and Inter. The Serie A giants are both reportedly lining up moves for Udinese hitman Fabio Quagliarella, Napoli midfield ace Marek Hamsik, Werder Bremen trequartista Diego and Palermo central defender Simon Kjaer.
