Inter have sent Republic of Ireland coach Giovanni Trapattoni warm wishes on his 70th birthday as the Nerazzurri remember the legendary man.
The coach has spent a 50 year career in football, winning a number of major honours. He led Inter to the 1989 Scudetto, the Supercoppa Italiana and the club's first ever UEFA Cup.
Although he turns 70, 'Trap' still has the will and motivation to succeed and he is currently working to help Ireland qualify for World Cup 2010.
Inter have sent their birthday message to their former boss. A statement on the club's official website reads, "A hug and sincere best wishes to a great of our sport for the contribution he has given as a football coach, for his extraordinary success during his career, and in particular for the ones obtained on the Inter bench."
The legendary coach will clash with Italy on April 1 in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
