Lecce midfielder Giuseppe Vives was quoted by Sportmediaset.it as saying how sorry he is for how things have been going for the team lately.
The Giallorossi have slipped down into the relegation zone following three defeats in a row and things are not looking very good for them.
"Three consecutive defeats are heavy, it's useless to hide it," declared the Salentini player.
"We must react straight away. There are still 13 games left in which we must try to obtain as many points as possible.
"We're sorry about this situation and the fans' unrest. The second goal we suffered on Sunday against Lazio made us give up when, instead, we should have reached in a different way."
Lecce currently are in 18th place and have 22 points from 25 games played, one point behind Torino and the survival zone.
