Inter's Giampaolo Pazzini looking to sink old club Fiorentina on Sunday

Inter striker Giampaolo Pazzini has stated that although former club Fiorentina are still important to him, he will show no mercy when the sides meet in Serie A on Sunday.

The Italian international played for the Viola between 2005 and 2009, making over 100 appearances for the side from the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

"Florence is not over [for me], it is a place that I [will] always carry in my heart [and] has given me so much. Sunday [brings] the Fiorentina challenge. Everyone must do his duty. Since [now I] only think of Inter," the Pescia born forward told Studio Sport.

The 26-year-old has scored pivotal goals in recent weeks against Lecce and a brace last weekend against Cesena to keep the Nerazzurri's slim Scudetto chances intact.

The future of coach Leonardo has been in doubt since the club's exit from the Champions League, and Pazzini is impressed by the calibre of names mentioned in the media as potential new bosses, especially Pep Guardiola.

"The newspapers say so. Maybe tomorrow they will say another name. It is part of the game and it's also nice the hear some [big] names," he continued.

San Siro plays host to the game, with his current side eight points behind rivals Milan with three games remaining.
